Check out “Wings”, the opening track from Satellite Train’s new album

Satellite Train is an Australian project that has Michael Paynter, from Icehouse, as a mentor and brings musicians from all over the world on its staff. They are John (Watto) Watson (James Reyne), John McCall (ex-The Black Sorrows), Shane O’Mara and Randy Jacobs (ex-Paul Kelly), Jamie Muhoberac (John Mayer) and a duo from Melbourne, the hometown of band, Susan Turner and Pasquale Monea.

They have been promoting their new album “The Melbourne Sessions”, and “Wings”, the track of the occasion, opens the album. And what an opening, as it is a powerful, impactful song that is perfect as the band’s calling card. It has everything an opening song should have.

With a well-established guitar and piano at the beginning, the vocal lines enter without much ceremony, showing an impressive range that captivates the listener from the beginning. With an intense melody, the composition also has a dense feel, revealing a band with a lot of desire.

If we were to fit “Wings” into something, hard rock/AOR would be ideal, but the song also takes on pop contours, which makes the sound more accessible. In short, nothing fairer and better than that, proving that if the single is something splendid, imagine the entire album, which is also available!

As Andy Dwyer once said, “Spread your wings and fly. You deserve to be a champion.” Satellite Train, a band that includes a lineup of talented musicians in both the United States and Australia, released their latest single titled “Wings” on February 16th. This fantastic tune was able to be a part of their debut album titled “The Melbourne Sessions,” which was released on the same day.

“Wings” provides an introduction that is rich and compelling and an accompaniment that is rhythmic and creative. With powerful vocals from the singer herself, the sounds of all instruments involved made this track melodic and strong. As this amazing track continues to progress minute by minute, Satellite Train was able to give their intended audience something to discover or something that they can be able to connect with as this tune was able to share meaningful lyrics that were able to provide meaning and purpose.

Speaking of “Wings,” it was mentioned that this track “embodies a theme of freedom, individuality, and the aspiration to witness someone soar unrestrained like an eagle.”

If you’re looking for a band that is able to write a melody that focuses on being able to find oneself and have them fly fearlessly, then Satellite Train is your go-to band. “Wings” seems like a real promise as this track is able to share a path with those who deserve to find their freedom and be able to not hold back. While the performance quality of “Wings” was high throughout, Satellite Train continues to share their incredible talent with the world through their melodious tracks.
