Satellite Train units experienced musicians and releases single

Satellite Train is a side project and features musicians from Australian and American bands including Michael Paynter of Icehouse, Gregg Bisonnette of Ringo Starr, John McCall of The Black Sorrows, Randy Jacobs of Paul Kelly, Shane O’Mara of Paul Kelly, Pasquale Stephen Cummings ‘ Monea, John Mayer’s Jamie Muhoberac and Jane’s Addiction’s Chris Chaney. So, with a team like this, you can feel that it’s not just anything, right?

And they are far from it. The project presents “Broken Heart”, a song that overflows with professionalism and maturity, where the band demonstrates all its competence and technique, delivering a polished and sophisticated alternative rock. That’s because they manage to distil each instrument into the song in an outlined way, exposing every detail with excellence.

And even in the face of all this, they deliver a passionate song, accessible melody, where the chorus is in the listener’s mind from its first hearing. With an exquisite production, the band still brings references to progressive and even funk lines, thanks to the cohesive kitchen and with a light ‘groove’, in addition to a pop accent that makes the song even more comprehensive. Made by ‘old monkeys’…
