RANDY JACOBS

Randy Jacobs is an American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He is best known as the frontman of the blues-rock band The Boneshakers.

Jacobs was born in Detroit, Michigan. He began playing guitar at the age of 12, and quickly developed a love for music. He attended Cass Technical High School, where he studied music and art.

After graduating from high school, Jacobs moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. He quickly became one of the most sought-after guitarists in the city, working with a wide variety of artists, including Bonnie Raitt, BB King, Seal, Paula Abdul, Kris Kristofferson, Ofra Haza, Tears For Fears, Warren Hill and others.

In 1988, Jacobs formed The Boneshakers with bassist Steve Potts and drummer Paul Revelli. The band released their debut album, The Boneshakers, in 1990. They have since released six more albums, including 2022’s Powerful Notions.
