JOHN WATSON

John Watson is an Australian drummer who is best known for his work with James Reyne. He has also played with a wide variety of other artists, including Men At Work, Dragon, and Daryl Braithwaite.

Watson was born in Melbourne, Australia. He began playing drums at the age of 12, and quickly became proficient at the instrument. He attended Melbourne High School, where he studied music.

After graduating from high school, Watson began playing in a variety of bands in Melbourne. In 1982, he was asked to join the band Australian Crawl. He played with the band for four years, and contributed to their albums The Boys Next Door, Romancing the Stone, and Sirocco.

In 1986, Watson left Australian Crawl and joined James Reyne. He has been a member of Reyne’s band ever since, and has played on all of his solo albums.

In addition to his work with James Reyne, Watson has also played with a variety of other artists, including Men At Work, Dragon, and Daryl Braithwaite. He is a highly respected drummer, and is known for his powerful and energetic playing style.

John Watson shares drum duties with American drummer Gregg Bissonette.
