Review by Hitanshu Bhatt

Satellite Train is an indie rock band from Melbourne, Australia featuring a collective of artists and collaborators from some of the most iconic acts in music. While it’s core members are drawn from bands like Icehouse, AC/DC, James Reyne, Paul Kelly, and The Black Sorrows, contributors such as Michael Paytner, Susan Turner, Randy Jacobs, Shane O’Mara, Jamie Muhoberac, John Mcall, Pasquale Monea, John Watson, and Chris Chaney make it a powerhouse of rock and pop musicians crafting emotionally charged tracks.

Drums roll and guitars surge in search of reconnection in “Paralyzed” by Satellite Train.

Their new song, “Paralyzed,” is a beast of emotions. Though rooted in alternative rock and pop, it seemingly captures the emotions of isolation and longing for reconnection in a melodic chorus. The tribal beats of the drums, coupled with the euphoric textures, compliment the in-depth lyrics about feeling unseen and unheard by someone. What makes the song even more captivating is its raw yet refined musical approach.
